Our July rock bag fill and breakfast was successful with around 800 bags prepared for the show. Those in attendance had a great time. Thank you Carma for the use of your lovely backyard.
The next planned club outing is to Star Springs over the Labor Day weekend. Discussion on this trip will occur at our steak fry.
Our August meeting will be the annual Steak Fry at the Midvale City park. The date is August 18th at 7:00 p.m. The cost will be $8.00 per person for the steak dinner.
The activity at the steak fry is an auction. Donations of finished lapidary products and other gift items will be auctioned to those in attendance. Please bring your donations with you. Each item should be wrapped and have a suggested retail value of at least $10. The proceeds from the auction are used to defray the cost of our meeting space.
We are rapidly approaching the club show. Please continue to prepare donations for the door prize drawing. Sign-up for the various show activities by contacting Elmer Inmann.
