Up to our Waist in Shale



Here my mom and I are up to our waists in this pit looking for fossils. I found a fossilized feather on one slab that was a rare find. Mostly there are leaves and branches found at this site. The University of Utah has a large donated display in their Geology building of many different leaves and fossils that were found at this site.
